The Inca Trail that leads to the famous Inca citadel of Machu Picchu in Cusco, is one of the most popular and well-known excursions in Peru. The walk from Kilometer 82 groups a series of incredibly preserved Inca archaeological remains. Along the route the natural landscape is impressive, with incredible views of snow-capped mountains and the cloud forest.
A stone path surrounded by landscapes that range from humid subtropical forests and cold mountains with an incredible view await you in the adventure of the Inca Trail. There are four days of adventures guaranteed by the testimonies of many travelers from around the world.
The reserve of spaces of the Inca Trail is done through an Authorized travel agency fo the Inca Trail. The Peruvian government guarantees the safety of passengers by requiring that each passenger be part of a group led by a guide and support staff, so it is not possible to purchase an entrance to the Inca Trail by yourself.
The ticket reservation for the 2018 season of the Inca Trail will start during October 2017. The first days, the authorized agencies will buy the spaces reserved by passengers from all over the world, so it is highly probable that the spaces for the first months (March , April, May and June) are sold out very quickly as it happened in May 2017.
Our recommendation is that you book the Inca Trail tour three months in advance for any month of the season. This destination is subject to availability, so it is better to ensure the spaces for you and your group and thus ensure those well-deserved vacations.
