My name is James Bagshaw and I finished the Inca trek on the 24th of September, I had a fantastic time.
Our guide was Raul and he was very good, our assistant was Hilten and he was also very helpful. The trek is difficult but the guides give you the time you need to relax after a long day of walking. They also make the evenings very entertaining so that you can just about forget how tired you are! The food is also great, the chef had to cook for a lot of people but I could not believe how good the quality was. I ate better than usual!
Credit must also go to the porters, they work so hard to pack up your things and beat you to the next campsite for lunch and dinner! They are all very polite and on hand to help you with whatever you may need.
Overall, I had a great experience on the inca trail to Machu Picchu. It was something that I will never forget, the first moment I saw the Inca city brought relief but huge joy. We had a great guided tour by Raul around the city aswell which really rounded off the whole trip. Brilliant value for money and I would recommend to anyone, of all levels of fitness...you can do it, just push yourself!
Thank you very much for the opportunity to see such a beautiful place,
I have just finished my four day and three night trek with let´s go inca trail. It was honestly one of the best experiences of my life and one that I will remember for the rest of my life. It was the people that made the trek; the guides that told me about the rich history of the trail and encouraged me every step of the way, to the porters and chef that made the journey a smooth and comfortable one. Our guides did an excellent job of judging the ability of the group and going at the right speed and allowing regular breaks to take in the breath taking scenery. I also learnt more than I could imagine about the many inca sights that we visited along the way, and the two hour tour around the star of the show; Machu Pichu itself. The porters were so helpful and the chef made incredible food. I was surprised to have such delicious food in the middle of no where!
I´d like to thank everyone at ´let´s go inca trail´ for creating such a wonderful experience.
My friend and I traveled on the 5d/4n Salkantay Trek and had a great experience. Our guide (Flecher) made the entire experience extremely smooth and enjoyable. He and the porter helped set up all our tents before we arrived at each campsite and the chef did a wonderful job preparing food to accommodate my gluten intolerance. Flecher made sure to check in with each of us throughout the trek to make sure we were feeling up to the challenge of each day and did a good job of briefing us each night about what the following day would be like so our expectations about weather/difficulty/etc were accurate. we had a great experience and I would recommend it to any family or friends interested in the Macchu picchu experience.
Overall I thought the trek was fantastic, particularly the first two days leading up to Salkantay pass. Our guide Fletcho was great, very attentive and seemed knowledgable but could have taken more initiative to tell us things instead of us asking. The food was delicious - I enjoyed that the food was mostly local I think it really adds to the experience. I also was happy that boiled water was provided for us each day as promised, this was very important for me.
I had an amazing experience and would certainly recommend it to others.
My namne is Cecilia Allansson. I went on the Salkantay
We had amasing weather and the trek was really good. The day at Machu Picchu of course the high point.
I’m a vegan and was a bit worried about the food but the cook really did a wonderful job. Really good food! A big plus for him.
Our guide Victor was very good and also his assistant Martin even if he didn’t speak must english.

Thanks you so much let’s go Peru for this trek, it was so amazing. At the beginning, I was afraid of this 5days hike, but the group was so united, the guide so smiling and the organization perfect, that I felt very confident very quickly. The landscapes were really amazing, the walk not so difficult, and the team really nice: horse men, cooks and drivers. Thanks you again for this trek, I will never forget it.
I expected the trek to be tough and hard to deal with. But it was actually full of fun with all the trekking buddies and the amazing guide Jose.
Jose organized everything which made the experience a lot easier. He explained the unique plants and culture. He showed the passion, energy and patience
It is the best experience ever.
